AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
All new and returning applicants must submit the required video recordings in the form of a YouTube or Google Drive link through the application form. Please make sure your link settings allow us to view the videos.

A solo piece that demonstrators the student’s current playing ability. (Approximately 4-6 minutes in length.)

The provided chamber music excerpt according to the applicant’s age at the time of submission. If your child has a birthday this spring that makes them eligible for the next age category of excerpts, please choose the excerpt in either category that best suits your child’s playing ability. We have selected and organized all the chamber music excerpts in a folder here with recording and performance guidelines.

Make sure that the sound in the video is of high quality, and that we are able to see the performer in full from an audience’s perspective. Recordings made on an iPhone or tablet are acceptable. Audition videos help us accurately place all students in chamber groups and orchestras.

Please note that piano and bass applications are only open to students 10 years and older.
